October 31, 2022The Uganda Bureau of Statistics has rebased the Construction Sector Index (CSI), here after referred to as the Construction Input Price Index (CIPI), from Q1 2006 TO 2016/17 base period. The rabasing excersise yielded an Annual Construction Input Price Index for 12 months ending August 2022 of 9.3 percent when compared to the published 5.8 percent.
