UBOS, traditional kingdoms sign deal to boost local data

KAMPALA, Uganda — The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has formalized landmark partnerships with the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom and the Umukuuka wa Bugisu cultural institution, establishing dedicated statistics units within their structures. The initiative aims to formally integrate vital community-level data directly into Uganda’s National Statistical System.
