Uganda Business Inquiry (UBI) 2019/20 Report

The Uganda Business Inquiry (UBI) 2019/20 was conducted by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) to generate comprehensive and reliable statistics on business establishments in Uganda. The survey aimed to provide key indicators for measuring the structure, performance and contribution of businesses to national economic development. It was based on the Census of Business Establishments 2019/20, which provided the sampling frame. A one-stage stratified sampling design was used, with establishments employing 100 or more persons selected with certainty, while those employing fewer than 100 persons were selected using probability sampling.
