Greenhouse Gases Gases that trap the infra-red (heat) radiation in the Earth\'s atmosphere, producing the greenhouse effect. The two major greenhouse gases are water vapour and carbon dioxide. ii. Enhanced Greenhouse Emissions A situation where the natural greenhouse gas emissions have been enhanced by anthropogenic (human) emissions.
